It is no secret that weddings can be taxing, both emotionally and physically. It is important that in the months leading up to your wedding you take some serious time out to relax and rejuvenate before your big day. Self care is important anytime, but especially now!
I am t-minus 25 days until my wedding day (YAY!) and I am kicking it into high gear. Below are my favorite zen savers to keep me calm and collective this month.
I love yoga and although it is hard to get myself there sometimes, I know how amazing I feel physically and emotionally after going. I cannot get enough of Yoga Union’s Wednesday and Friday Core Yoga classes!
I have recently started a daily practice of guided meditation using the Simply Being app on my phone. I found this little gem when I was a counselor. Meditation is the perfect tool to soothe all those pre-wedding worries. I love this app because you can choose from different background sounds and music and adjust both the time and volume. My fiance and I have been doing it together before bed each night.
When I am craving good food, but trying to stick to a healthy wedding diet, I always head to Harlow. I cannot get enough of their Chili Bowl and for a decadent treat I opp for the gluten free/vegan mac and cheese! Do not forget to get a fresh squeezed juice too!
Nothing is better than a steam and sauna in my opinion. They literally melt away any stress you may have. Loyly is definitely my favorite choice for a Swedish spa in Portland. I love the calming atmosphere and going back and forth from the steam to the sauna. I am taking my bridal party here the day before my wedding to ensure all the jitters are out before the rehearsal dinner!

I feel like when you are a bride you need to smell luxurious at all times. I discovered Aesop and have not been able to get enough of their rich oils and nourishing creams. Find a skin and body package that makes you feel like everyday is spa day!
