With the right vendor team, design and approach, even the most popular destinations can feel foreign. Our goal as wedding planners and designers is to constantly be thinking outside of the box. Avoiding what has been done before, what is on-trend and what is customary to a climate, region or destination is in the forefront of the planning process. Vanity Affair Events styled shoot collaboration with Maria Lamb and Kaleb Norman James did just those things to create this Style Me Pretty feature of Highland Springs Resort in Palm Springs, California feel like the Tuscan Countryside. This Palm Springs wedding is everything but your typical desert wedding. Instead, it transports guests to lavender fields, lush rows of sage colored trees and an al fresco dining experience that showcases romance, glamour and amore.
When coming up with the inspiration for this shoot, the entire team of vendors collaborated on a vision that stepped away from Palm Springs’ mid century modern style. Piece by piece, each artist carefully crafted a vision that came together seamlessly to tell this couple’s story. Everything was soft, from the Bride’s loose updo, to the stationery of whites and light blues to the floral scape to the wedding cake wrapped in ivy. A dab of fresh fruit made this table crisp, inviting and prodotto finito!
Love,
